Il faut pas se leurrer il n'existe que quelques chipset compatibles MPEG4 Apres pour synthetiser :

les chipsets Mediatek sont les plus performant en termes de decompression video (compatible avec plus d'option d'encodage)
les chipsets ESS ont l'avantage de lire les sous titrages
les chipsets SigmaDesigns reposent sur un systeme ouvert qui est Linux
certains supportent les DVD Audio et SA-CD c'est ce qui m'interesse le plus
