Hi,
Last year I went to “makeart festival” I saw couple of demo on embedded devices such as boxar on nokia n810 from Sampath Jagananthan …
I wanted to test it on other platforms such as plain debian or OpenMoko smartphones check it out :
Boxar is a kind of piano using the full surface of the touch screen to display scales
Boxar was created for the Nokia n8x0 and I built it for the openmoko (GTA02 Running SHR) as well since both support gtk and esd
Install it using
opkg install http://rzr.online.fr/docs/contribs/openmoko/boxar_0.0.20090601-0_armv4t.ipk opkg list | grep esd
It was tested on SHR (2008) :
<embed src="http://blip.tv/play/gr8pgYTPfZOYDQ%2Em4v" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="640" height="510" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed>
Find me online or contact: http://rzr.online.fr/contact.htm
I'll make an other release if it can be supported on other OM distributions …
Btw feel free to contact me if you need professional linux mobile development services
