autorepeat : keyboard on maemo n810

I tried to use apple's ”wireless keyboard” A1016 on nokia n810 the bluetooth pairing went fine, but it suffers of the “Auto Reeeappppppeaaat syndrome” ?

I tried to tweak this using xset (in a chrooted debian env) but it does not change anything :

root@Nokia-N810-:/# xset r rate 500 30
Xlib: extension "XFree86-Misc" missing on display ":0.0".

I also tried to disable it (~ xset r rate off) but it's the same…

Are there alternatives to xset on maemo ?

I guess ideal lenght of antenna would be half of wavelenght, that would be about 61.39 mm.
