 +
 +1) CONNECTION:
 +
+a) Before plugging your auto-off multi-outlet into a wall outlet, first plug in the appliances as shown above
 +scheme.
+b) Plug the power plug of the multi-socket  into the wall socket (the orange light of the lightning rod  lights up)
 +
+2) LOCATION OF THE SENSOR (MOUSE)
+a) Place the infrared mouse next to the TV or in a place accessible to the signal (range: 5 m - angle: 60°).
+b) To take advantage of the mouse button on/off switch, make sure the switch is easily accessible.
 +
+3) STORING THE INFRARED SIGNAL FROM THE TV REMOTE CONTROL INTO MEMORY:
+a) Continuously press the (on/off) button of the infrared mouse  until the operation light of the power switch  starts flashing (green light)
+b) Now press the (on/off) button on the TV remote control, point towards the infrared sensor.
+c) The green light  will now stop flashing... this means that the infrared signal from the remote control has been memorized.
+NOTE: When setting up another remote control later (broken, replaced,...), repeat the above procedure.
 +
+4) STORING THE VALUE FOR SWITCHING OFF STANDBY MODE IN MEMORY:
 +
+Your multi-outlet with automatic shutdown is initially set to automatically turn off the control outlet and slave outlets when the control consumption
 +outlets will drop below approx. 15 W.
 +
+However, you can set the shutdown value to match the exact consumption of your device as follows:
 +
+a) Turn on automatic shutdown by briefly pressing the mouse button or by pressing the button on the TV remote control. (green lights up indicator light)
 +
+b) Turn on the TV set to the desired program.
 +
+c) Use the remote control to put the TV into standby mode.
 +
+d) Press the mouse button continuously until the green light flashes
 +
+e) When it goes out (after approximately 5 s), the value for the consumption of your device in standby mode is set.
 +
+ Your multiple socket automatically switches off the control socket and 3 slave sockets after a few seconds (after approx. 30 s).
+ To turn them back on, just press the button on the remote control or press the mouse button briefly.
 +
+5) USE OF APPLIANCES CONNECTED TO A MULTI-OUTLET WITH AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF:
 +
+a) Permanent sockets : Devices that you want to power continuously. (Example: DVD recorder, VCR, lamp, etc.)
+ They are plugged into sockets marked in red. These devices will be continuously powered and protected by a lightning rod.
+The auto-off feature will not apply to them.
 +
+b) Control socket . A control device whose electricity consumption is continuously monitored by a multiple outlet with automatic shutdown (TV,
+video projector) and controls the auto-off function.
+ A few seconds after the device plugged into the control socket is put into standby mode, the power supply to the four "smart" sockets
+(control socket + three slave sockets) will automatically turn off.
+ When the devices are no longer under voltage (automatic mode switched off), only an infrared signal from the remote control is enough to turn them on
+or a short press of the infrared mouse button.
+ The device plugged into the control socket is continuously protected by a lightning rod during use.
 +
+c) Slave sockets : Devices associated with your device that you wish to switch off at the same time as the control device (Example: home speakers
+cinemas, DVD players, game consoles, etc.)
+ ) They are connected to "slave" sockets. These devices automatically turn off a few seconds after the control device is entered into
+standby mode. When using them, they are protected by a lightning rod
